Student Voice & No Place for Hate Parent Letter

April 19, 2018

Dear Parent(s) or Guardian(s):

This letter is to inform you that your child has recently participated in activities/lessons regarding Student Voice and No Place for Hate at Bleyl MS.  The lessons incorporated what it means to have a voice and how to use their voice in a positive and proactive way at Bleyl MS.  Students also learned that having a voice means being respectful to self, others, and their school by following the district Code of Conduct and Bleyl’s behavior expectations.  We encourage students to, “If you see something, say something.”  Students may have a positive voice by finding any adult on campus and reporting a concern.  We also have student statement forms and the Tip Line for students to use for reporting.

We appreciate your support and encourage conversations with your child about what they learned from the Student Voice and No Place for Hate lessons.  It is always our top priority to ensure that we maintain a safe and secure learning environment. We want our students here every day and in class so they may be successful and finish the year strong.

Thank you for sharing your student with us every day.  We value their contributions to Bleyl MS and will continue to support their growth and development so they may achieve their goals.  If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the school at 281-897-4340.
