SpringHill Suites’ ‘ArtNight’ raises funds for Bleyl art program

Aug. 23, 2016—Bleyl Middle School business partner SpringHill Suites Houston Northwest hosted its annual “ArtNight” celebration on Aug. 18 to raise funds for Bleyl’s art department.

The second annual event featured artwork displayed by students from Lone Star College and Bleyl. Approximately 80 visitors attended the event, which generated $410 for the school.

Visitors enjoyed live music and complimentary hors d’oeuvres while entering raffle drawings with items donated by several local businesses.

“Our teachers, staff and most certainly our art students are grateful to have the support of SpringHill Suites Houston Northwest for the second year in a row,” said Samdria Stewart, Bleyl academic achievement specialist. “Their contributions allow students access to materials and projects that go above and beyond the set curriculum. We hope that this partnership grows and we look forward to their continued support.”
